Week 3 Recap and Highlights

Local 315 Brewing week was the first beautiful sunshiny week in both leagues, and it was good to see 100+ people at bocce again!

I only vaguely remember the sun coming down to earth and trying to kill us, but that always happens on sunny days, right? Or was that Super Mario? Who can tell the difference?

Please allow this bocce recap to help get you through your Monday. I know how it is … you work, you come home, you’re bored – there’s a monkey on your back. Let Turbo Bocce get that monkey off your back and into a tuxedo . . . the way monkey’s look best.

Local 315 Brewing Week!

Tuesday is a big day for Turbo Bocce. First off, its not going to rain – and to celebrate Local 315 Brewing is stopping by with something special they cooked up … I call it Bocce Brew … they don’t … they call it Batch 22, but you know, tomato tomato (I’m just realizing this really only works when you actually say the word in two different ways, in print it looks exactly the same, oh well).

Did I mention its not going to rain? 81 and sunny! Perhaps we should all wear yellow tuxedos and top hats?

Week 1 Recap and Highlights

A new season is upon us, and I for one think we’re on the brink of something beautiful.

But I can’t help thinking we should be doing something special to kickoff the new season. What should it be? How about we take common English phrases and add the word penis to them, you know, for kicks. So, if you’re thinking of an example like killing two birds with one penis then you’ve really hit the nail on the penis.

Rain Policy

Turbo Bocce plays games every week no matter the weather.   If its raining and you want to come play in the rain, go for it.  Many people do and have lots of fun with it.  If playing in the rain isn’t your thing, feel free to skip – we have make up weeks for a reason.  A second suggestion, Tuesday League players can always come and play on Wednesday when the forecast looks a little better, and vice versa.
