Indoor Week 1 Recap

Yesterday marked the dawn of a new era of Turbo Bocce … the indoor era!

Unlike the fully developed and extremely popular outdoor league, this indoor iteration is bound to be a continually adapting work in progress for a while … but that doesn’t mean we can’t have a lot of fun on the journey (just like we did in the early days of the outdoor league!).

With colors firmly nailed to the mast, we opened our doors for the first time (metaphorically speaking) at 5:30, and arrivals seemed to be pretty evenly staggered between 6:00 and 8:00 with pretty constant streams of people coming in ready to compete. Indoor Bocce League Rules

Going into our first indoor bocce season we are determined to cook up the kind fun and unique experience you expect from Turbo Bocce, but to make sure we get everything right we need your input so leave a comment!!!

The philosophy is simple, we want playing in the league to be an easy and fun experience, and most of all we want it to be flexible.  The way things are set up you’ll get a pass so you can come play on the courts any time day or night for free.  If you have a friend (or friends) you want to play with you are welcome to, but you’ll also have a chance to change teammates and meet new people.

Syracuse Italian Fest Bocce Tournament Recap

The centerpiece of the Syracuse Italian Festival is a double elimination 4 on 4 memorial bocce tournament which goes from approximately 9am to 5pm on Saturday and usually builds some fairly impressive drama as it unfolds.
