The first leg of the triple crown of bocce happens this Saturday. We will draw the brackets on Friday. If you’re anything like me then you’ll be obsessively counting down the minutes until the World Cup Final on Sunday… and guess what, we’ve got you covered here too! We are renting a movie theater and screening the World Cup Championship! Its going to be a BIG weekend!
Friday the 13th
The 1 on 1 tournament is free to play in, but you have to register ahead of time because we are going to randomly draw brackets Friday night at 7pm. How do you register? Just email paul@turbobocce.com and say you want to play in the tournament! Make sure you do so BEFORE 7pm Friday! Then check in with this website or our Facebook page to see the live draw!
There will be a wheel of death this year, much like the one we had last year!

Saturday the 14th
The brackets will already be drawn and the games will start at 11am SHARP! Its looking like a hot one so I recommend bringing some water and maybe a protein bar or two to help get you through what is bound to be a very long day. There will be beer available at the field – Founder’s All Day IPA, Coors, and OV, for just $10 for as much as you want the whole day!
This is a double elimination tournament with a random draw. The winner of this tournament will be crowned – and recognized globally – as the Best Bocce Player In Syracuse!
This tournament is one of the 3 biggest bocce tournaments held annually in Syracuse and thus marks the first leg of the bocce triple crown!
Sunday the 15th
After all your hard work earning everlasting glory as the Best Bocce Player In Syracuse on Saturday you deserve a day of rest on Sunday. What better way to take that break than by kicking up your feet and watching the biggest sporting event in the history of the world? We’re going to make this fun! We rented out the movie theater at All Star Alley and we are turning it into World Cup central!
There will be specialty drinks corresponding to the two participating teams, and Russia. You can choose which team you think is going to win, and you’ll get a prize if you are correct! And we are going to have some World Cup trivia with the winner also getting a (different) special prize! Its going to be a big party, and the more the merrier so invite your friends!!!
This game takes place at 11 am. All Star Alley is located in Destiny USA on the 3rd floor of the new canyon area. The movie theater is on the the left hand side, about half way in, around where you rent shoes for bowling. Admission is free, food and drinks cost money.
