Some interesting takeaways. Though Vegas likes the chances of many underdogs more than their seeding suggests, they don’t outright predict any underdog to have a greater than 50% chance of victory, which is unusual for Vegas.
Which is the Bracket of Death? I don’t have a strong answer to that. All the brackets look pretty balanced to me. Going by BCS, obviously, every bracket is nearly equal since we seed by BCS and put the best against the worst, second best against the second worst, etc. Going by best records Never Had the Makings bracket shows as the toughest. And going by most championships Never Had the Makings and Breakfast of Champions brackets tie with 4 each. Who do you think has the Bracket of Death??? Its probably nit-picking this year, which should make for an extra exciting tournament.
