The Basics:
Every year the city of Syracuse puts on a bocce ball tournament during its Italian Fest, and every year (at least for the last seven years) a team of Turbo Bocce players wins it.
This year’s tournament will be Saturday September 19th, starting at 9:00 am. You need four people to have a team. The cost is $40 ( $10 a person). The winner gets $200. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place get money.
You don’t have to register ahead of time. Just show up in front of City Hall at 9:00 am (don’t be late or you might miss out!) and register then. My advice is to have one person take care of the money, and let them sign the whole team up.
