Mid Season Recap

We’re about half way through the season, and we took an appropriately timed “all star break” from bocce to enjoy the escape room at the mall. It was fun, everybody succeeded (except those who competed against each other, which is a thing) and at the end they gave us a plaque that read “You are the smartest group of people that has ever graced these four walls.”

Just kidding we never got a plaque. One of the employees actually told me I did a terrible job, but he was probably kidding. Right? Right?

We did solve all the problems though, and here are some pics!

Indoor Week 4 Recap

Did everybody enjoy wacthing the Super Bowl? I didn’t catch the game myself, instead I decided to watch my two favorite TV shows – Party of Five and a fictional show about farting I invented called Fart-y of Pive.

***Quick note about how out-dated this joke is. This year’s Super Bowl was number LII. The last time Party of Five aired, they were only on Super Bowl XXXIII; in that game John Elway lead the Denver Broncos to a win over the Chris Chandler lead Atlanta Falcons. Both QB’s now receive senior discounts when they go out, and both of the game’s announcers are now dead. Immediately after the game, Family Guy aired for the very first time. … Read More »

Indoor Week 3 Recap

Now that we’re all in a good mood. Lets talk Turbo Bocce! We are in our third week and constantly learning, tweaking, and making the rules better. Here’s the first rule change. You have to play 20 games in 10 weeks, but they can be EITHER court or table bocce, if you have a preference feel free to stick to that. If you play fewer than 20 games you get forfeits for the games you did not play, but you CAN play more than 20 if you want to improve your winning percentage (we will go by winning percentage in the playoffs.
