Float like a butterfly, sting like bocce!  Or something like that . . .

Muhammad Ali is one of the five greatest non-Turbo Bocce playing athletes of all time, and one of the 305 best total athletes of all time. In honor of his passing, lets have a Muhammad Ali themed recap. Every bocce highlight will be paired with a classic Ali quote, and maybe if you’re lucky you’ll get to watch him punch somebody.

Week 2 Recap

In week one you’re just getting your barrings, so even though the games count you might not put too much weight on the results. By week two you better have your shit together, in other words, these games matter, in other words, its on like some video game that was always on during my childhood. Tecmo Bowl? No. Pac Man? Preseason Recap

It bocce time!

As Tupac said in Two of Amerika’z Most Wanted (also the name of a Turbo Bocce championship team): Break out the champagne glasses and mother fuckin’ condoms, and have one on us!

Preseason week kicked off with a beautiful sunny day. We had a nice group of bocce players who came out to get some practice in, and gain an advantage over the rest of the league.

Those who did come got a bit of a surprise. Our field is now approximately 30% bigger. Here is a picture of the new area. Its nice.
